Thanks again, all! I solved my issues using Dudely Q's setting lotion and a wet set under a hooded dryer. It is just flat out amazing It lasts 3 or 4 days so I a m very pleased. Thanks again, so much for, taking the time to answer me. xo xo

Thank you both! I will look into protein treatments right away! I probably do over condition as I use a Keratin shampoo and a conditioner. I thought it was needed due to the perm!!

My hair is just not holding curl, even after a loose perm. I have tried everything. Wet set under a hooded dryer, wet set while sleeping, hot sticks, curling irons then pinned... nothing works. Is there any such thing as hair that just won't hold curl?? It used to but, no more :(...

How many days before a perm should I give my hair a deep condition? I want my hair to be in the best shape before next weeks appointment! Thanks!!

Thanks, Ladies! I prefer the hooded as sleeping in a set is really uncomfy for me :( But, I am going to get a perm in a month, or so, and that should cut down on the days I have to set my hair :)

I have never heard of using apple cider vinegar as a setting lotion! I have only ever used to as a way to rinse product build up out of my hair once a week!! I shall give it a go!! Thanks :)

to water ratio? I have hair that just won't hold the curl I put into it lately and was wondering if I should up my setting lotion to water ratio. Right now, it's lotta body 1/3 and water 2/3 I do either a wet set and sleep in it over night, or a wet set under the dryer for an hour...
