    Show Us Your Purchases....GUYS !

Ah, after some inactivity I decided to pop in and show what I've found. Usually I wouldn't care about waistcoats without a backside but I had to make an exemption when I found this. It's not that common any more that you see a double breasted white tie waistcoat.

Oh sorry, I must have been in my own thoughts and misread your post. I'll let the picture speak for themselves, yes it does give that hour-glass silhouette. Maybe a bit too much even...

Actually the waistcoat is fine I just changed the brightness and contrast on the picture, should have taken another picture.

    Toppers Unite

Thanks! I am happy over having them because of my head size of 58cm (7 1/8 UK, 7 1/4 US) it can be hard to find silk top hats in my size. The tallest of them I have found from a second hand shop and the two others are from private persons.

    Toppers Unite

Actually I only bought it about 3 hours ago, I just happened to be better dressed today.

    Toppers Unite

Ok this time it's a new toppy! Height 14,5cm on the front. I just painted over the name in a photo editor program. Me in my new top hat, a bit bad quality but It's the best picture I like. And a picture of my all top hats. Crown heigh from left to right: 13,5cm , 14,5cm ...

    What are you wearing today??

Thank you very much but I didn't get as many comments as when I was out with my single breasted morning dress. Thanks, great to know that you like it but if I have to be honest it isn't really a double breasted one, it was originally single breasted with too big waist for me but then I...

My bucket haves also the elastic bands even though they aren't elastic any more. Then again I don't have to transport the hat anywhere unless taking it out counts. The reason why I bought the bucket was that I have wanted a real leather bucket for a while and now I happened to find one for a...

    Toppers Unite

Well I'm aware it's missing the brim support but the brim of my other top hat is big enough so the sides are supporting but I guess it isn't good for long term. Could I buy some soft packing foam and cover it with velvet and make a brim support on my own? Sure it may not look as good as the one...

    Toppers Unite

Not a topper but still related! A leather top hat bucket. The other side strap is loose but can still be easily sewn back. The key is intact and the lock works. The inside with velvet lining and a laminate bottom. And the price for this one which still haves the key...

    What are you wearing today??

Wrong powers Vampyre Master and besides I'm opting to contact lenses :D. And what's this! Second day in row Mr. Garrulus is dressed up like a gent, and I took the wise advise and used a top hat this time. Sadly no comments this time... Only some smirks from some youngsters which I...

    What are you wearing today??

Thanks! It's easy to get positive comments from elderly people if you are both young and dressing well. I chose a bowler since it's acceptable with notch lapels, even though a top hat would go well. There's always next time! Today's morning coats seem to pretty uniform with peaked lapels...

    What are you wearing today??

Decided to go and have a coffee today, dressed up of course! First time in my new morning dress with black waistcoat. The choice of hat was a bowler and spats were used once again. Got comments like "Very elegant" (from elderly ladies) a couple times and one even said that he used...
