I can't seem to find a fedora cotton styled hat. I want to buy a cotton hat that I can wear at work outdoors that has a fedora like appearance. I can't seem to find any, only bucket hats. Any recommendations? Thanks. 2 inch brim is fine.

I bought my first Churchill not sure what decade it's from but the felt is very soft and I love it. It's so soft and not floppy at all that I don't need to steam it to mold it. It's beautiful.

Awesome, thanks for answering. Yes, it can be a little confusing. I understand formal intimate spaces, but yeah in the military you take off your hat anytime you go indoors. Your answers helped. I'm new to the fedora wearing, with a baseball cap I wore it everywhere practically.

Is it ok to wear hats in stores such as walmart or the supermarket? I know you should not wear a hat in places such as church, another person's home, or in a hospital and more. I want to have proper hat etiquette. I know today's world is very informal, but I want to do the proper thing.

I'm willing to spend more if it's for a good quality hat that will last for a very long time and is durable. I like the Stratoliner, Mr. isallgood suggested, I would like a felt hat but not sure how it would wear in warmer weather.

What about a fedora/hat for a truck driver in the state of Florida? So protects from elements, not for a tie and suit, for work with a little style.
