LOL !!! I've just discovered the J Crew Timex Military watch. I'd never heard of it before. It would be a good alternative - if only I can find one....

How about I look for a J Crew Timex Military ? It looks reasonably authentic WW2-ish and although they weren't sold in the United Kingdom, I wonder if I might pick up a NOS or good used one in the US?

Hmm, maybe. Does that sound expensive to you ? I just don't know because they were never available over here. They look very similar to the 1960's Army watches, so one of the very good replicas of them may be an alternative.

I'm probably too late in trying to find one of these watches as they went out of production some years ago, but does anyone know where they're still available ? The used ones eBay seem to be pricey - are they really hard to find ?

I'd like a nice one, preferably NOS. Any offers please ?

Over the last 2 weeks, I've emailed Diamond 3 times because I want to buy one of their crusher caps but I haven't received any reply. Does anyone know whether they - a) Have gone out of business ? b) Are so rabidly anti-British that they don't want to sell me one ? (I'm only joking !)...
