I'd say it was entirely normal. I notice some variation in my jackets and think it's just because each hide is going to handle differently. The light can exaggerate this as well.
I wore my ANJ-4 on a bike ride yesterday (couple of degrees above freezing) but my FQHH / shearling Longshoreman does a better job keeping the wind out.
I think moleskin is warm and feels substantial but not bulky. I've always thought the alpaca was a bit thin but I believe they are now using a heavier weight.
I just need to wear it more often. I bought this when I was the trimmest I've been for a while - visited Galashiels to check my size but then put on the pounds :( Now heading in the right direction!
Hi Tefouane, yes I am. I thought the sleeves might be too short but I think they're okay. I'll try and post some pics. It seems to have sparked my interest in military jackets again and now have an M422a on order!
