Weather has turned brisk in in the SF Bay Area so dragging out my Brooks gold that I’ve owned since the late 70’s. Probably dates about 10 years earlier, bought used for $10 in a Cambridge, MA thrift.

Yes it is. I really love the leather used on these jackets. Gives them an almost luxurious feel. FWIW, my jacket is a size 34. I'm 5'7 and 136lbs and take a small usually, and took a chance on this one given it was being sold at a good enough price for the risk. As you can tell, snug but what...

Love my 641XX

Wore my Schott 641XX for the first time in a few months today, and really liked putting it back on. Completely different fit/feel from my Brooks cafe, which is ok with me. And I do like the lining. I think they did a nice job with it.

Didn’t really need it as I already have two denim jackets but Levi’s was selling this raw on sale for $38 so couldn’t pass it up. Took a chance on an XS but seems to fit pretty well. Breaking it now on a 90 degree day!

Here it is. I like it. Fits well, a bit more snug(plus!) then my Brooks. But I don't think the previous owner wore it much after buying it in Tokyo so perhaps a bit of break in will loosen it up some. But I'm fine with it if it doesn't. Beautiful leather and lining.
