Excuse me Miss, do you Blog?

Hi Ladies (and Gents)!

I just started my blog... it's kind of my project to help keep myself motivated. I've had a rough couple of years and wanted to get back into doing at least something creative!

It's going to be my thoughts, recommendations, reviews, questions, discoveries, projects, purchases... everything to do with vintage in my life!

Please follow me and comment and encourage me! I don't have any friends who are into this kind of thing in real life, so this is as close as I can get!

I am enjoying your posts on surviving the St. Petersburg winter. Your tips will certainly be transferable to our weather here in Alberta. *brrrr*

Could someone tell me how to "follow" my blog - someone has asked me because they've been having problems, and I can't seem to figure it out myself!

On your blog's settings, go into your Design setting, click "Add a gadget" and then add the "Followers" or the "Follow by Email" or both. :)

hi Ladies,

Since we have so many talented bloggers here and well we could all use more readers to our blogs why not a start guest post-a-thon. For those of you how don't know the term a guest post is a blog post written by another blogger and posted on your blog. You get the benefit of not having to write a post for the day and the guest blogger links back to thier blog where readers can discover how fabulous thier blog is and perhaps become followers. It is a really amazing way to network with like minded bloggers and a lot nicer than emailing blog owners for a link exchange or spamming comments.

So i'll kick it off. If you would like to share a guest blog on my site www.vintagedancer.com (40K hits a month) just drop me a line and let me know what topic you want to write on. My site coveres anything from Victorian through 1960's fashion. Right now I am exta interested in the 1920's so if you have something to say about an aspect of 20's fashion that would be really appreciated but otherwsie I am open to any topic about vintage fashion. They could be educational, show and tell of your latest vintage finds, promotion of your store, or personal story. If you are open to a guest post in return just let me know if there is a particular topic you would like me to write on.

Since I've spent the last 6 months up to my eyeballs in plaster, paint and boxes, my blog has wandered slightly too far into the realm of 'who cares about your interiors - give us vintage!'

So, in an attempt to remember what I began blogging for, here's a hair post... Nothing too special, but considering that it's impossible for my hair to hold a curl, I was pleased :)

Let me know what you think!
