I was just recently looking through the biographies of my favorite golden era movie stars when I noticed something that totally shocked me about Olivia de Havilland, She is still alive in 2012?!

I am stunned, and it seems hard for me to believe that the lovely lady of GWTW is still with us. Is this the case? Has anyone heard much about her? I wish I had known earlier, maybe I could have arranged to meet her. Then again, maybe she wouldn't be receiving visits from fans one third her age.

I so wish I could at least shake the hand of these legends of the glory days of Hollywood that are still alive. You'd be suprised how many are still alive, but sadly in their twilight years. Almost all of my favorite noir femme fetal's are still alive including Lauren Bacall, Lizabeth Scott, and Peggy Cummings!! When these legends are gone, they're GONE. The end of an era.
