In two weeks, I'll be 24. It's funny how as a child/teen you can't wait to turn 18 or 21. Those two birthdays never come fast enough. After you hit 21 though, the months and years just fly by.

I'm at the age when everything is gone !
But at least I can remember some good stuff like Hopalong Cassidy and old cars. My father bought and sold old cars constantly, beaters all, but my brother and I have fond memories of the variety and the chrome, chrome chrome !

I am 38.
The other day a couple came into the pub where I work and they told me that I did not look old enough to work there so I asked them "how old do I look?" and they said 12, I said "well thanks for the compliment because I am actually 38," but they were not being complimentary because by the time they left they had a few to many drinks and they asked me if my mommy and daddy knew I was out so late and it was only 8:30 p.m.!

I'm 56--that's old.....
BUT, I've never grown up and I don't intend to. That may be the secret---or one of them. I occasionally see people I was in high school (1964-1968) with and they all seem like they're 70.
If I could just lose the neck and back pain.
