Regarding our HPA garment bags that come with each jacket purchase, you can indeed store the jacket in the bag because the bag is open/vented at the top, thus allowing free flow of air. I use these bags for every jacket and suit and blazer I own, but please don't do anything that doesn't feel right to YOU.

Thank you. I will definitely keep this fine hand made leather in the garment bag but opened up b/c my cool cellar could collect dust on the shoulders of it. I love it so much ,I actually don't ever want to take it off.

Awwwww, shucks, it was all in a day's work, pal!

Hmmmm, as for the leather fob on the main zipper, that's a good question I don't feel qualified to answer because there is no right or wrong answer; it's totally up to the individual. My personal, subjective opinion is that, cool looking as it is, you already have a leather pull attached to the zipper and this fob with logo seems too large to be left on the jacket, so I have removed this item from all my ELMC jackets.

My ELC Luftwaffe Hartmann jacket does have an added puller attached in keeping with what is often seen adorning the jackets of Luftwaffe jagdfliegern in the USSR: a vintage grenade fuse pull knob from a German "egg" grenade.

I’ve used my large ELMC fob that comes with the new jacket as a key ring, always thought that was what it was definitely to big in my opinion to leave on the zipper

I'm still in the overwhelmed happiness phase that I'm keeping it for now . The jacket is just sooooo special with all these bells and whistles . After this I'm never buying a Schott. I'm only vegetable tanned now . Soooo much better for the environment too.
