Schott Brown 141 (Naked Cowhide) Cafe Racer in very good to excellent condition. I purchased this jacket from a consignment store a few years ago (I believe in 2015) for $500 and I have never worn it (other than trying it on when I first got it)---its just been stored in the closet this whole time.
Its a 2012 model I believe based on the pocket tag (see photos). Only very minimal signs of wear. It has a couple hard to see small surface microscuffs and light wear marks here and there but the heavy leather is in great condition. The sleeves do not show very pronounced wear creases. Slight beginnings of visible wear marks on the end of the cuffs as is typical (see photos). Also, there is a little natural copperish patina on the left rear brass buckle for the waist adjuster (see photos). It can be polished out with brass cleaner but I have left it as is as I prefer the patina.
This model year 141 with Brass hardware and zippers features the hoop and chain zipper pulls for all three pockets (2 handwarmers and 1 upper left chest). Later years' models started to add some rounded, regular style zipper pulls for the pockets. This model maintains the look of the traditional 141s and other historic Schott models with the hoop and chain pulls. It also has the modern Schott "football" underarm design for maximum flexibility. Double snap collar tab. All Schott embossed brass snaps. Liner is perfect.
The jacket is a modern size 46 so its fit is more true to its stated size than would a vintage model meaning it does not run small. I am having to downsize my collection and I'm posting a handful of jackets for sale here in the Lounge before they hit la Bahia. Smoke Free/Pet Free/Sugar Free.
