That is one sharp image, the background colour of the shirt looks black, it certainly highlights the detail. The hat and shades complete the look, I love it.One of my favorite Hawaiian shirts, paired with a lightweight parabuntal summer straw.

I had to try on 5 hats with this shirt. Only the black crown ribbon worked with the black shirt.

We have just returned from a lovely Sunday afternoon, impromptu picnic. Some friends with a large garden suggested we all descend on their place. Music from the era, good food and great company, it was a wonderful five hours.

You are a charmer, as always, thank you. The UK has been hit by Storm Helen, wind speeds range from 60 to 80 mph, depending on where you are in the country. Curiously though, it's still quite warm. I may have to change the straw for a felt if the strong wind persists.

My black felt needs a new hatband, and tomorrow I hope to get that sorted. This shirt might be on a par with Tukwila's but my hat has certainly seen better days, couldn't part with it though. I just love that parabuntal.

At the garage this morning, whilst filling my wife's car, the cashier asked if I had a loyalty card, then said, "of course not, you don't like a profile made of your purchases." "Am I known for being cranky?" I enquired. "No," she replied, "You are known as the man who wears a hat and colourful shirts." And I thought that I was just another face in the crowd.

Actually, it does, and it's on your doorstep, or it was, last weekend. One of these years I'm going to bring the car over there. We have done Daytona, on a Harley weekend, that was well worth it too. Dined out on that for months afterwards.
