Not finding the model in a later (1956) catalog, but it may have evolved into a ladies' model only at this point. There are stampede string eyelets behind the sweat.

Yes on the brim and mostly likely the open crown measurement. I can steam it open if you'd like, but let's get past all these "flaws" first.
