I have since found a Tonak supplier out of New York city and my next order will be with him. He offers a 165gr dress weight and he guarantees a 4"brim and just under 6" on the open crown. A little more expensive than Agnoulita but a lot closer to home.

I have high hopes for those Millinery Warehouse suede finished felts working out. The unfinished dimensions mean there should be plenty of felt for my preferred dimensions and the color offerings are expanding.

I've drooled over Brent's and Panos' Agnoulitas, and was therefore so happy to pick up no less than two from Panos. They are two wonderful, modern, vintage looking hats, and I couldn't be happier with them. I believe Panos was too, and he was the one who originally ordered them.

There is though a down side to the buying of bespoke hats via the internet. Nothing can beat being able to try on a hat before buying, nor being able to see and feel the colour and felt in person.

Let's all hope Mr. P can up his game in these difficult times.

On my monitor that peanut looks pretty close to a Winchester pecan. I would love to see a real photo of the coffee color as it looks similar but maybe has a little more colored flecks in it, but who can tell from the swatch.

The coffee is the one of few I have not seen in person. Both ribbons are brown...the darker one is a dark chocolate brown, the lighter is a pecan. The peanut is somewhat different but yes closer to a Winchester Pecan. I traded the hat to TheOldFashioned and he may have better pics...more close ups of the felt.

Definitely has a flecked/heathered appearance and texture, but I wouldn't call it longhair per se. I liked it this way as is so I asked for no additional pouncing. I wanted something different from the other hats in my collection and I'm very happy with the end product.
