I've seen it in person and it's really nice. Good fabric and all. I say if you have a guy its for or someone on the cusp of buying it go for it at half price.

I just noticed how close the button spacing is on the waistcoat too... almost looks like it could be seven buttons, like this:

I believe the BB is a 6 button all functional.
Lapeled vests have never been my cup of tea though they have their place.

I love it, but then my last MTM suit was done with a lapelled vest. For $480 it's hard to go too wrong.

I just went to my local Brooks Brothers
and all the 1818 line of suits are on sale, most, including the one pictured, for $588. Not quite half price, but not bad. If you open a BB charge and use that, you save an additional 10%. Pickings were somewhat slim, though.

Well I called my local BB this morning and was told that the entire company is sold out of this suit so.......it's a no go regardless. I guess that's what I get for shopping a cold weather suit when retailers are changing over to spring attire.

They had one in a 46 regular in downtown Baltimore at lunchtime.
