Cute Vintage-y Shoes

Ooooh, I love the red sandals, and the gold too!!!

I love just about all of the GOLC line, but I just had to have these!


They come in black, brown, red and white. It's nice to find a company that makes there shoes in more than 2 colors, although there still is a lack of navy. I don't need them, but it'd be nice to have the option.
I also really love the peep toe sling backs with the bow, they are taken right out of the 40's and look almost identical to ReMix shoes, at least as far as I can tell from the photo.
But I am looking forward to getting these to see if the fit is good.

Also, Jessica Simpson has a pretty large shoe collection. It's being offered at Macy's and some other department stores, but they don't typically carry every style. All the shoe sites carry them now, and most all have similar pricing.
It's hit or miss with her. Some styles are adorable, others are just ok, then some are just plain silly, IMO.
But, I really like these. They're suede, so not too great for the warmer seasons, but I love the styling of them. They come in black, red, and a royal blue that's very cool and a bit out of the ordinary.


I really like how for the past few years shoe makers are incorporating not just vintage styles into their designs, but the heels have become more so as well. I mean that thicker heel that instead of going straight down is at a bit of an angle, and it doesn't get super narrow at the bottom. It makes for a more comfortable shoe.

Aha - Idledame, what were you doing looking at those shoes anyway? Didn't you vow, back on page 50-something, that you wouldn't buy any more shoes this YEAR? I knew you couldn't last... and this is only March! lol

Oh my! I love these but they're still to expensive for me. Maybe they'll go on sale though.

I always have trouble with shoes due to my flat feet. I can't wear flat shoes because they cause me lots of pain (learnt that after 3 or 4 bouts of plantar fascitis - not sure if that's spelt right ), and I really refuse to wear stillettos. I don't know what it's like elsewhere in the world, but here, it seems like ever shoe I see is either a ballet flat or a stilletto, and I can't wear either! Or if they have a nice heel, they have pointed toes, which make me feel like I'm a clown! Which is a pity because I really do love shoes, and I want to get some nice ones for my vintage clothes! And thanks to this thread, I discovered Amazon!! *squee*

These shoes were the first ones I came across and I think I'm in love! If only they weren't so expensive! But I'm putting them on my wishlist so I can cme back and buy them! It's nice to see that there are actually shoes with decent heels around the place!

Now back to online shopping

I picked these up at Target this week. They also come in black. I had to go up a size.

I found these on Endless, really like them. This is bad, every time I look at this thread, I find myself online looking for shoes!! Bad, bad Daisy!!!


Also, check out the new Farryl Robin line. Once again they have some very cool shoes.

Oh, and these by the Madden Girl division of Steve Madden, found them at Shoes.com and Endless.com They have the first pair in a red/burgundy black trimmed patent leather that are just adorable!! Oh, Zappos has them too, but use them as a last resort like if you can't get your size at endless or shoe buy, they are more expensive at Zappos. Endless seems to have the best pricing and they have free overnight shipping and free return shipping if needed. I don't know how the other sites work in this regard so forgive me if the other sites also offer these services. I just typically stick to endless, they have great customer service, or Amazon when I can find the shoes I like in the right size and color at a comparable price, since I get points when I order through them!!
This last pair comes in black, brown, yellow and a great vibrant turquoise. I really want the yellow, I think I can find a few things to wear them with, they also look really comfortable. Steve Madden has always made a comfortable shoe, especially for the price. The madden girl line is more for teeny boppers, or at least that's what they market these too, but I've found quite a few pairs in this line that have a great retro flare.
Oh and just in case you didn't know, Steve Madden is going out of business. So, if you have a store near you and it's still open, get there!! The deals are unbelievable!! The website also has deals, but the sizes are really limited. It's a shame this brand is going down. They were the first shoe company to market stylish, funky, more trendy shoes to younger generations like teens. It was a way for them to have juniors inspired shoes that were different then the typical, and if a twenty something wanted a nice looking pair of shoes that they didn't want to pay an arm and a leg for, Steve Maddens were good options. They weren't low end but they were rarely over $60, well the many years ago that they started out that is!! But anyway, get thee to one of their stores if you can. I went home with 7 pairs the last time I went, but each pair was a steal. They didn't have the madden girl line but I'm gonna scoop these up online before they're no longer

I want to cry: there are far too many cute shoes available at the moment! Oh if only I were rich! Woe is me!

I bought Coconut Ice in Black on Friday and took them back to the shop this evening as I found they really pinched when I tried them on around my flat! . I don't know about you ladies but I found that the sizing on this style came up smaller than usual, I'm normally a 4 1/2 at Clarks but had to go up to a size 5 for this pair and they still felt a bit too tight!

I do like the Bombay Lights pair in red and may go back to buy them still! It would be consolation for the fact that I have spent the last 2 years looking for a pair of red 40's shoes in my size and still haven't found any!! Boooo!!!!

Yeah, exactly, I feel the same way, they have a lovely color scheme.
It's such a shame that you so often see really, really unflattering heels. It just ruins the whole shoe.

Oh man, I'm busted!! ok Decobelle what can I say. I am a shoe-o-holic. I can't be trusted with a computer and a credit card. I am putting myself on probation.

Many of you know of my addiction for FarylRobin Shoes. They are the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn and they always have a great vintage look.
This is a pair I have to have, as soon as I can find them on sale somewhere

Has anyone seen some cute flats or wedges? I cant really wear heels because i got in a horrible car accident and my back hates heels.. I saw a pair of black flats that had this cute bow on the front but they wanted $200 So if anyone sees anything like that please let me know! I've been looking forever. I wish i had more money!!!
