Hey there!

So lately I have a lot of pimples on my forehead, really small ones, but still, A LOT of them. And I never really had them before.... So I was wondering why this is.... Usually things like that come from the way you eat or the products you put on you're skin. but really, nothing of that has changed really.... The only thing that changed is the water, since I moved to the uk. And since I'm here I started to have those pimples  And even though I'm somewhere else, I still eat the same, since I don't use any ready made meals or such a like.... So could it really be the water? (I've herad it's a hard water area where I'm living)

Bodies adjust to different environments. Different set of toxins need to be taken care of differently. Sure, your water is different, and your body is adjusting.

Age is also a factor, and all this could be a coincidence. You might be young, but your body might be going into a different phase.

Stress...:eusa_doh:

Life is a lot of factors. I wouldnt worry and freak out and go buy tons of skin irritating products that may add a whole host of other problems.

Give it a few weeks. Let your body do its job. Then, after that, if its still icky, Id see a dermatologist. :)

yeah, it could be a lot of things.

My diet hasn't changed and my stress level hasn't really changed, but about 2 months ago I started breaking out everywhere. I didn't change detergents or beauty products either. Why, I ask myself? Who knows. I could have just hit that point where adult skin problems set in. Sometimes that's just it.

I agree with the ladies! :) :)

It could be maney different things and sometimes just the air quality.. or stress.. your hormones changing.. so many things to factor in .. but I would give it some time and just keep treating your face and body well and it should clear up :)

That actually happens to me when Im stressed.. I get those little bumps on my cheeks and forehead.. only I can feel them.. but they still bother me! (like right now.. grrr!)

I saw a drastic difference in my skin going from soft water at my parents (much worse skin) to now having hard water. Each time I go to visit the parents I break out too. But then again it could be stress! The soft water left my skin feeling filmy if that makes sense. I try to remember to bring a toner to clarify after my normal washing routine. I realize the water sitution might be the opposite for you though.

Ah, a tone would help if it would be the water?

stress it shouldn't be, I don't know why this is, but since I'm here I feel so much more careless and don't even worry that much about things I usually "love" to stress about...

Ah I hate that... You always think that all you're skin problems will dissolve when you turn 20, so far from true.....

We move a lot, to different places in the US. Every time we move to a new place, my skin changes. On the East coast I'm oily. ON the west, coast, it changes with the season..in the northwest I'm dry as a bone. And every place weather, water, air, pollution, so on and so forth, makes a difference and it takes some time for my skin to adjust as well as myself to my skin. Give it some time, and try and treat the problem areas in the meantime. Good luck :)

I jumped when I read your thread. The exact same thing happened to me when I moved to Germany! I had tons of tiny bumps on my forehead. They weren't red or anything but it still sucked. I remember the feeling. It actually started JUST before we left to go to Germany; I remember because my brother said there was something wrong with my forehead on the plane ride there. :( My skin was breaking out a lot too once we got there. Because the tiny bumps started right before going there, I think that may have been due to the stress. And the breakouts due to the change in food, water, air, language, time zone...everything! It all cleared up in a couple of months. And after my skin was ok, which is pretty good considering I was 15 at the time.

I've lived in an area that had very hard water. Our bathtub was olive green but it had rock hard white mineral build-up all over it. Everything that used water, looked like it had been chiseled out of stone because it was covered in mineral build-up. It was pretty bad, but my skin was never bothered by it. Not from washing in it, and not from drinking it.

this is incredible, the same thing happened to me when i was living in berlin, it only took me a while to realise it was because of the water. i remember i used minerall water to wash my face, it really did the trick though...;)

Hmm... Ok, so far my skin didn't change... I'll give it a nother week, if it doesn't change, I'll try to use a toner, if that won't work either, I'll use different (botteled) water. Yesterday a friend of mine, who lives in London told me that she got big pimples when she moved here first, and when she stopped drinking the water from the tub they dissappeared.... Maybe I should start drinking bottled water probably(?)

Have you tried an aspirin mask?? It works wonders, its perfect for getting rid of existing pimples and deep cleaning your pores... this is how:

Step 1: You will need 5-10 UNCOATED aspirin put into a pestal and mortar.

Step 2: Add 3 drops of hot water and start mashing, if its too thick keep adding one drop at a time. Instead of water you can use cetaphil, yogurt, honey, etc. You can customize!

Step 3: Spread all over your face. Leave on till it starts to flake off like 10 minutes.

STEP 4: Wash off with warm water while massaging the mixture into your face. Pat your face dry!

Let me know how it works out, it should solve your problem.
