Not all valets have a seat. Some are called valet stands, some have small mirrors and a small table top. Jeeves would be a gentleman's gentleman.

Had a nice one, got rid of it, and now wish I still had it. Aside from being a great place to hang shirt, trousers and jacket, they usually have little trays for wallet, keys and change. A great invention!

Silent valet or valet stand, either one. I got mine at one of the (many) antique stores here in town.

I'd rather have the gentleman's gentleman, though.
