Does anyone know when the other volumes will be released? So far they've released 5, 6, and 7, and I've read somewhere that they were going to release the earlier volumes later on? Does anyone have any info on this?

Just wondering, since I don't do much vintage clothing shopping, do you ever come across actual vintage dresses or own a dress that might have been home sewn?
I would go with a commercial pattern because they will give you step by step instructions and will tell you where to lengthen or shorten the pattern. I just finished a '50s circle skirt last week and it came out pretty nice. They're very basic, so you don't even need all that much instruction...
If I used that method, wouldn't it be necessary to do an ease stitch and if so, at what point should I put in the ease stitch? After the hem tape is sewn in place or before, or does it matter?
Thanks Tatum. I will probably use her technique, only I'm a little scared cause my machine likes to eat up fabric whenever I do a narrow hem. Out of curiosity, does anyone know what might have been the preferred method back in the day?
