Heh - yeah, I was gonna go thin, but I REALLY wanted a brown ribbon to go with that body, and I don't think they had a thin brown. Plus, that one looks...BIG. Not flashy, necessarily, but... you know what I'm saying. I know you're ribbing me, but it honestly was hard to skip the thin ribbon. -

"Nerd". You can start to understand it after a month on the chanter, then become fluent when you move up to the pipes. Folks at competition level can even expertly communicate in different dialects, but I mostly know just enough to get directions and order food. -

Thanks, JtL, and thanks for the comments, everyone. The set on the bottom are Mccallum AB2 deluxe with Airstream and the ones on top are Dunbar polypenco P1 'antique' with button mounts. Both have Dunbar polypenco chanters. The Mccallum set is mine and the other set belongs to another band... -

Can anyone tell me what the approximate turnaround time for having a hat overhauled at Optimo would be. And/or, offer an alternative to Optimo for quality refinishing. Looking to have the sweatband repaired/replaced, button on the wind cord recovered/replaced, cleaning, etc... On a nice tan... -
