chanteuseCarey I love your hair, i've tried pin curl's before and it's by no means easy, your an expert you look fab:eusa_clap, hope your tea party goes well.
Here is a photo of me last weekend at Hotrod Hayride (taken with an iphone so no flash), I love the grainyness of this photo. Loads of...
I agree with you Laughing Magpie some of the patterns are poor quality and with not a huge knowledge of drafting patterns; for what looks to be quite delicate and intricate detailing, I have stuck to smaller projects like aprons, bags, hats & shoes.
I have kept the dress patterns just for...

Embroidered Navy Trousers
I bought a pair of Navy trousers this week at The War & Peace Show, Beltring, UK. I have been looking for a couple of years for a pair but they were always too small, I was very pleased when I found these. They struck me as unusual as they are silk lined, not wool...
Thankyou Marie-Anne I couldn't believe my eye's when I saw these patterns. Sure I can copy this pattern for you, I'll PM you (first time doing this so be patient), and the offer to translate is a very kind gesture.
Update: Unable to PM  not earned the right to yet, please PM me.
Thanks Rhian,
This is my favorite pattern, I love the button hole detailing down the front of the dress, I have always liked the detail on sailors trousers so this dress appeals to me.
I found some fantastic magazines and patterns in Luc-Sur-Mer, Normandy 2 weekends ago. We had spent 2 day's at a Retro Festival in Caen and decided to go to the beach on Sunday afternoon, we were rewarded with a street carboot/ garage sale in rue de la mer. At home I normally go to a car boot...
Thanks for the lovely comments.
Fleur De Guerre - I missed Rockabilly Rave this year, it was great to see your outfits, I especially like the bellbottom trousers.
Bugsy - You look very relaxed and at home in your suit, you wear it well.
Inky - Love you in the Swirl dress (and the car), so...
We went to a great show in Caen, Northern France last weekend. It was full of classic cars and bikes, I dressed up for the occasion and my boyfriend took some photo's of me with the cars. My dress is from Marks & Spencer's 125 years anniversary collection, the design is adapted from their archives.
I thought I'd post some of my car boot booty from Sunday. The accordeon is from the turn of the last century bought for £5.00, and a Cresta (Fridor) sewing machine bought for the pricely sum of £1.00! I love the style of this machine very streamline and it works, loads of different feet for...

I've wanted to post on this thread for a while but couldn't find a photo to post.
This is me in my Women's Land Army uniform that I wore to a WW11 dance.
I find the jodhpurs very comfy but they do give you a baggy bottom, but the upside is that they give you long looking legs.
Hi Twit,
It's great someone knows about the MCC on The FL.
We left the house at about 7pm for a 12.35am start, joined the A5 at Wrexham and got as far as Oswestry! the clutch started slipping, the clutch slave cylinder was at fault, too dark to fix. Crept back home very, very disappointed. Poor...
Thanks Mike1973, fellow Brit.
Love the bug, here's my Skoda on the MCC Edinburgh Trial last November, doing the Lands End Trial this Bank Holiday weekend with my Dad, it's been sat for a while so it's getting prepped this week.
Here are a couple of photos I recently took of our Nissan Pao on a trip to St Andrews, Scotland. We did get slightly stuck in the sand but it was worth it.
(Please advise on how to display photo rather than a link, I have searched but with no success, thanks)
