New purchase off ebay, 1930's silk velvet evening dress, this dress has many flaws, but it was only £14.00.
It's my new project to bring it back to life, I need to gain some velvet to repair the badly patched sections, I'm thinking of putting a V in the back, what do you think? Any suggestions...
I came across these high waisted trousers in a shop in Stoke on Trent, a great WWII shop on London Road ww2quartermaster, they are mens German Navy trousers, £14.99, they look better in real life than in the photo.
I'm a sucker for buttoned up trousers, they're going to be great for the summer...
sixsexsix I love the styling of your 1960's Domestic, the dials look like a car radio.
Does it have a model number? I've had a look for the manual on the internet but as you, can't find it.
I've had this machine for a number of years, it's very heavy and industrial, made by Posch in Germany. I've tried to research it on a few occasion but come up with nothing, the only Posch I can find produce wood splitters.
In the hope that someone recognizes this machine and knows what it's...
SayCici I love your fabric choice, great Tiki feel
Khalamorgan great fit on your dress, va va voom
Lauren Lovely simple lines on your dress, that complement the print, your so creative.
These are my PF Flyers, purchased from TKMaxx a couple of years ago, pretty Liberty like lining, one for the ladies. I'd love another pair but never come across any, they are very comfy compared to a converse.
I saw these petrol station overalls at Beaulieu autojumble last year, they were over £100 each, too pricey for me, so I decided to take a photo instead.
Swinggal - beautiful blouse, very pretty colour.
Cherry Red - Your chairs lovely, good luck with the restoration.
KamiKat - I'm on the look out for those wave makers, they've done such a great job of waving your hair.
Some purchases from the car boot on Sunday.
Fabric and patterns (£4.00) found...
Dinerman You seem to have been really lucky with your finds lately, let's hope this continues. You'll never be able to pass a skip or bin without having a nose, it stays with you always.
I definitely can't resist a skip, I also started when I was a student.
:offtopic:
A short story...
Kate O Potato I've just looked on the V&A site, what a lovely dress, have you got long to wait for it?
They have some lovely items, I particularly love the hankies and sun hats.
