Excellent review FF, the only thing I'd add is that Robert Anderson wrote this as a play first, in 1953. Broadway theater (and books) in those years was far ahead of films in dealing with such issues: there was no restrictive Production Code. Wested vs us wings Indy jackets
I suggest that you get it from Wested and pay a bit extra for custom sleeve length, all-cotton lining, choice of hide, etc. It'll still cost MUCH less than the off-the-rack US Wings.
