    The will become old and turn to dust over time. I have had many vintage hats with all kinds of strange granules in them, come to find out they had once had a piece of foam in them. However, foam does the trick, just doesn't last as long as felt.

    Crushable I demonstrate daily to customers in my store the Bailey Litefelt memory qualities. I crush, squash and roll the hats, and then pop them back into their regular shape. It's a great selling tool, but also proves Bailey's claims to the memory of this wool felt.
