What a great idea and project C-dot! It turned out so cute too.
Has anyone had experience with Vogue V2401? I picked it up yesterday at JoAnne's for a song along with enough chocolate brown taffeta to make a nice dress for Thanksgiving (JoAnne's is having a fantastic sale btw). Tips, tricks...
Well girls, the black and the fox won out. Surprisingly there was more red and color on the ladies than Black and there wasn't a single vintage outfit in sight. Standing out, even in that large of a crowd, wasn't an issue. ;)
I let my husband make the final call about the fur and he was in...
Ahahaha! He has that look, that's for sure. :)
Your Pop sounds wonderful. If you find the pictures, please post them. And tell him they *do* still make guys like that, my hubby is proof. I still get kick out of the fact he'll always open the car door for me first. Polite never goes out of style.

One of the other things that I like about the black is it plays down my tattoos just a bit. I love my art, but sometimes it becomes the center of attention and nothing else gets discussed throughout the evening.
Looks like the red will be saved for...
Girls...I need your opinions because I can't make up my mind. I'm attending the Marine Corps Birthday Ball with my beloved husband this Saturday. After serving 23 years in the Corps, he gets to skip any fashion decisions by wearing his oh-so-dashing Evening Dress Blues. Me? I get to agonize over...
I've been eyeballing a few vintage furs and when this 1940's beauty popped up, I had to have it. It's in gorgeous condition and perfect for this year's upcoming Marine Corps Ball.
