Come on. You did distract from the original topic with silly comparsions (underwear, medical treatment). I never claimed everything was better. This was about RW shoes. You don't own RW shoes and decided in a whim that you don't like them? Fine. Keep it to your self. I own a pair and wear them a...

Tweed RL beltback size M on German ebay but shipping from austria. Might be interesting for european loungers.
Bummed because sodabooks don't carry the newest Mens File issue (yet?) and I find the magazineman EU price too much. Did the last one not sell enough to go into retail?
However I found something for y'all who missed the first issues. There is a best of book on amazon for a good price. Didn't...

Well you brought it up and made the assumption we would blindly buy uncomfortable clothing just because of it's vintage-ness. This sounds slightly aggressive too, don't you think?
It's just not true. Of course many here like the style but they are well made, last a long time and are usually...
Collegiate style for a relaxed sunday stroll yesterday. We went in the woods and collected mushrooms (not the psychedelic kind)
Simonds cap, RL cardigan
That's just his experience. Most red wing wearers(me included) never had this problem. I had a two week break in phase because of the sole. I found the leather too hard in general but it softened up with wear. Since then I have worn them all the time in the winter months
Sounds like you need...
Is the sole very different from the Beckmanns? These are ok after a while. Maybe it just needs more break in time. Wear them only for a few hours a day or in the evening. Maybe you can bend them some to get more flexible.
I got fabric ones as well. They work just fine. I wouldn't waste to much energy for this. They are just for the one or two shirts with too long arms and will be hidden by a jacket or sweater anyway.
Sounds like you actually need a newsboy cap and just don't know it yet.
-Crushable and small enough to stuff in a pocket
-comes in lightweight fabric (linen, cotton, silk blend....or warm tweed. your choice)
-looks vintage and not dorky
But if you insist on a brimmed hat try these threads...
Summer will be over soon. Time to get back to the great RL knit vest repros.

German ebay has this in size 42 (euro 52) or a little smaller if the seller measured correctly:

Not that cheap but nice thick fabric...
Yes. Get your money back and buy from Simonds, Monsivais or Cordova. No fooling around with this half assed companies and their floppy caps. They may appear more expensive but they look at least five times better. So you actually save money and nerves by buying the good stuff directly.
Me neither. But I linked this blog in the "on yer bike" thread and it seems as if they were wearing similar unstructured jackets.
