Type of hat name (yes I want to buy a new hat)
I am considering buying a new hat, as seen in the photo below, but I have no idea what it is called. The closest I've seen online to this is a "boater"'s hat, but I find it hard to believe that everyone in 1912 would be running around with Italian hats. Please help! -

The "tie tuck".
I had a fashion question about ties -- whether or not it was considered fashionably OK, or pass?©, to tuck one's tie into the first two buttons of one's shirt. It seemed much more common in the 1950s or in the military... I hardly see a man doing it now. (I'm going to *gasp* give you wikipedia...- Mindraker

Dog hair, rug fuzzies -- quick solution
Allright, I don't have a "hat brush" yet for my new hat. But it was time to clean the hat after I noticed dog hair on it. I took some scotch tape, made a ring around my fingers, and ran it over my hat -- the hat looks as good as new. Anyone else got a good 'quickie' solution?
