A question about wanting to shrink my A-2 a lil bit, having lost some weight.....I'm wanting to make the A-2 fit a bit better on me, i.e.....the arms are a bit too long, chest is too roomy now....BUT...I've sewn on a number of leather patches on this jacket. Alterations to an A-2
I have recently lost a lot of weight, & I think I should get my A-2 altered for a better fit now.....Is that a lot of trouble or expensive to get it sized down, especially in the waist & sleeve length?- FriarTuck

shrinking an A-2 to size
Recently I purchased an A-2....but since then I have lost a lot of weight. My question is.....since I have sewn unit patches all over the jacket, if I give it the hot water shrinking treatment now, will those patches cause me a problem as the leather shrinks?.....Thanks, Paul- FriarTuck
