    I totally agree with what the other posters have said - there's no need to limit yourself to an era. Although I mainly love recreating the look of the early 40s, I'll happily wear my hair in victory rolls with an early 60s dress. xx Charlotte

    Has anyone used Vintage Vogue 7464 (Hats)? I'm struggling hugely with the last few instructions on hat B in this pattern, and I was wondering if anyone else had used it. It doesn't help that there are no pictures or illustrations of what the back of the hat should look like.

    My third sewing project from a vintage pattern! I used a 1950s jumper dress pattern, changing the neckline from V to sweetheart. I'll definitely use this pattern again, but next time I'll do the Full Bust Adjustment pattern alterations.

    Thank you! I confess I didn't do the umbrella myself, that's from New Look (it was a bargain too!) I'm going to sew myself a Swirl-alike too - I've got the fabric already. I have tooo many projects planned haha!
