Thanks for the leads guys! The Tony-Photos guy has some nice ones starting out at CHEAP prices. I will give a few a shot. As for the other site, they have some nice stuff too that I will look into! Thanks again and please keep sending more leads if at all possible! I did pick up a supposedly...
I would like to bump this to the top again! I am still in need of WWII stuff for my office. So far I have not gotten in contact with anyone on here so will try this again.
Thanks in advance!
I am looking to decorate my shop office in a 40's theme and WWII. I am in need of posters of ads car related and/or WWII or any advertising posters that fit the era. Maybe even small usable office supplies as well!
Thanks in advance!
By the way. If anyone here has the correct style belt that goes over the tunic, one for the pants and a tie for enlisted soldier uniform and your willing to sell it, please let me know!
Thanks again!
Well I received my tunic and crush cap in the mail yesterday. 37R seems to fit me perfect and the crush cap in the size of 7 1/8 fit perfect as well. I ordered pants as well which should be in the mail today or tomorrow I am hoping. Now all I need is the belt for the pants, under shirt, tie...
Thanks for the info guys! I just picked up this crush cap today as well: http://www.ebay.com/itm/260867533010?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649#ht_968wt_1167
It's my size too which is great and price was cheap enough for me! I appreciate the info a lot Sgt Brown, I will pick up...
How about a garrison cap? Would that still be correct or no? Also how can I tell the difference between an Enlisted soldiers hat and an Officers?
Also do I need the OD green pants and under shirt and tie or what color combo is needed there?
Thanks again!
By the way I believe this tunic I bought is an Enlisted soldiers one and NOT an Officers... Also if anyone has the correct enlisted class A pants, tie, and hat that they would be interested in selling, please let me know!
I am not sure if there is a difference between the pants worn with the...
BUMP! I never got any notifications on this anymore so sorry for no follow up post guys! I am in the same boat though this year for Halloween! I just now won an Ebay auction for a Class A Army 3rd AAF Air Crew uniform tunic...
I'd like to bump this thread to the top. I still have not found out how to change the wick on it and would really like to get it working again.
Thanks again for any help here!
Tatum, I greatly appreciate your help. I will be sending you a PM here shortly about having you do the logo for me if you have the time and would want to take it on. You pretty much know what I want already and you know what looks good and know the style I'm looking for. I need to get cards...
Tatum, I appreciate the info! I do not mind if you critique my work, I do not get offensive over it and am not that sensitive. :) I searched vintage logos for months and just am overloaded with too many ideas. The font I really like, and not sure if others will like the slash through the word...
I pretty much have the font, it's just adding to it or adding some kind of design to make it stand out... I am hoping to come up with something by this week so I can get some business cards and brochures printed up and have been brainstorming like crazy with no luck yet.
Sorry for the poor quality phone pictures. As for the font goes, I have the exact font I want downloaded already and I pretty much tried to copy it in the above photos or get close to it the best I could. Where I am lost is where to put "Auto Care" and if I should add an oval around the whole...
This is WAY off topic for this forum but I thought that maybe some of you guys here have a creative mind and can throw some ideas my way for a logo I am trying to finish. The logo is for my automotive detailing/reconditioning company called Streamline Auto Care. I have the font that I want to...
Wow, I am very sorry, I just received your PM since I did not get a Email notification about it... I guess I will skip on the Longwings since you say that they will not fit me. I have a friend who said he may be interested in them so I will ask him tomorrow. If he is I will just buy them from...
Well... Funny you say this. I have the cigars and box covered. I bought a 1930's Evans Lift Arm type lighter and cigarette holder but would love one of those tables to hold the scotch, ash tray, table top lighter, etc. If I can find something like this reasonably priced then I will go for it. So...
