Cotton-rayon: what have I been missing?

It's when the fabric is moist. Clean water has the same effect. It's even stronger in 100% rayon.

Cotton-rayon: what have I been missing?

I allways found that cotton and rayon t-shirts would develop a weird odor when sweaty and so i try to avoid them.

    Quality Casual Clothes

I not sure about all of their pants but i know that the officer pinks can handle a wool cycle. Their regular GI wool trousers did not shrink but they did bleed dye onto the lining.

    Quality Casual Clothes

When i say lining i mean the fabric used for the waistband and pockets. For some reason it was stiff like a starched shirt when new and after the first wash, it shrunk and caused the pants to deform like crazy. Funny enough, their wool pants CAN handle the washer.

    Quality Casual Clothes

Must be very different than their regular US khakis. I bought a pair and they were total garbage. Loose threads, incorrect seams, super stiff lining, and they cant handle being washed beckause the lining shrinks more than the rest.

US Wings: Need an Honest Opinion

This is probably less of an issue if you live the US but i had a prety bad experience whit USwings customer service. They screwed up my order and it took about 2,5 months before everything was fixed. If you buy from USwings. Get the A2 "2000" and not the "current issue"(beckause of a...

    High rise khakis

A few words of warning. Avoid the What Price Glory(WPG) repro Khakis like the plauge. Historical accuracy aside, they are THE worst pants i've ever paid money for. Even by the standards of cheap, Asian made goods they are just plain bad. Needed repairs before being worn, no flat felled...

    Reproduction classic workwear

I'm wearing a pair of relaxed fit jeans right now. Very comfy and the denim does look nice. I'd say the quality of the stitching is a bit below Mexico made Wranglers. The only real problem whit my pair is that the legs had sloppy hems. I also have one of their chorecoats. It's quite nice but...

    Hunting for the perfect jeans

I only have one pair (original fit) but Wrangler gets my endorsment. Sturdy and VERY high waist by modern standards. One caveat: The label on the back pocket is plastic. And it's not even plastic leather but thick bendy plastic whit a print on one side. I removed it before the first wash.
