    Vintage Manicures

Swinggal, I'm from Perth too - Do you do your nails yourself? Or could you possibly reccomend a nail salon that would know how to do half moons? Last time I asked the technician just said "I dont know how to do that" and said nothing more about it

What about us naturally curly girls?

My curls are usually much better when my hair is moisturised properly. Redken Allsoft heavy cream has been a blessing! I use this as a treatment once a week and after washing my hair every time I use Moroccan oil - my curls haven't looked better.

    Show us your hair do's....

Cecil it's good to see you back! I used to be called cupcake around here. I went blonde and cut my hair off in the last year too, my finger wave attempts were nothing on yours though - they look beautiful.

    Unpopular movie opinions...

Bumping this: Unpopular Opinion of the year from my dear Boyfriend. He hates Katherine Hepburn, and with a passion. We were watching The Aviator and his ranting began. "I Hate her so much I can't even stand people acting as her!". That does give points to Cate for doing a great job with playing...

    Dita Von Teese

If you look at other pictures from the festival, her hair is like that the entire time. Probably a good idea over a few days. What I want to know is how on earth she is so put together and not a flat, sweaty, scruffy mess. It's a music festival!

    Cologne and perfume

Apologies for lurking in here, but I love a good mans cologne. Paddy, I can practically smell the Tom Ford perfumes from here thanks to those descriptions. Such a hefty price tag sours it slightly for me however :(

    The Middy Thread

(FYI, I used to come here under a different name) Unfortunately it looks like C-Dot has disappeared, she hasn't posted here in a long time and her blog has gone. Unfortunately for us it means we've lost her (very effective) tutorial. Has anyone here saved a copy perhaps?

    Dita Von Teese

+1. Half these comments probably wouldn't be made if Mr Pearl was a Mrs. Even if being "bound" all the time might seem extreme to a lot of people, but Dita's figure is certainly testament to this mans talent in his field.

Oh, the Stigma of an Astigmatism. . .

I'm short sighted so don't need them when I'm at the computer (8 hrs a day at work!). Other than that I don't take them off and I NEVER wore my glasses. I get compliments left right and center. Glad you girls are enjoying yours just as much :)
