Brown Monty Python t-shirt (I love Monty Python! Whoo!)
Pin-striped pants from Target
Sunglasses from Wal-mart

It was chilly, but sunny today, so I fit in quite nicely.

Lavender shirt from Macy's
Pin-striped pants from Target
Rockport shoes
I'm working on a beard, so I look a little dirty, and sorry for the bad quality, I forgot to change my camera away from 1600 ISO to 100 ISO.
Looking fantastic!
What shoes are those? (I'm in the market for a new pair, and being a teenager who is not a fan over Converse 'All-Stars'...it tends to be a bit difficult, even more so when spending $100 on a pair is slight out-of-the-question)
Thank you!
That picture was taken at about...1:00P.M. and yes, I told the girl who sold me my ticket the same thing(concerning the morning suit).
I was going to take my brother's 1972 Corvette-Red Chevy pick-up, but alas, he had it shipped down to Arizona earlier in the year, before I knew I...
Well, here is my tux.
I'm the large man on the left, with Genevieve being my date.
Then it's Bella, a foreign exchange student, and then James, basically my greatest friend.
I have yet to find a scent I like, all the 'modern' scents basically smell like grass or carrot shavings. (Which, personally, I like the smell of mowed grass, as I owe a business that does just that, but not as a scent I want to carry with me all the time)
Right now I'm using a 'uni-sex'...
This is actually a photo a friend took of me, but I 'shopped it a bit (Actually, I used Lightroom, by who's keeping score?)
But, if you want to see some of my photographs, here's my most extensive album. http://timdturner.multiply.com/
Bear in mind, there are only about 150 images up...
Well, I ended up renting a tux, but I may dish out the money to buy one of the same style from the store I'm renting from after prom. (My parents paid for the rental, so I didn't push it).
I tried it on a little while ago, but the pants were about an inch and a half too short, so they sent it...
I just hate it when opinion of style conflict with each other. I read through the Formal Wear Primer here, and with the small debate on the cummerbund going on in this thread, I'm at odds about what to get, once again.
All I can find are tailcoats that show a small amount of the the waistcoat...
Do you want the full set of 'rules' for hat etiquette or just in a church?
I actually had an 'argument' with my friend over this last week when we went into a church in New York.
Ha, well, I got a date.
I got a response from the lady I asked, the one I wanted to go with who still could.
She's a freshman in college...I'm lucky with the older ladies :P
Thank you all for your input, and more is still welcome.
After much thought, I'm going with a cutaway tux, or a vintage tailcoat. (The general consensus of everyone I asked agreed on that.
I'm still in the air on rentals or buying, I want to buy, and I'm sure I could get some great deals on eBay...I'm just steadily losing weight, but the only thing...
First of all, thank you for all of your suggestions.
If it helps anyone...I'm a junior in high school, so I do have this and next year for the prom. So I do have the choice of going silly for one, and suave for the other.
Also, the reason I'm going this year is because people finally saw...
With prom at my high school coming up, I'm in need of a suit or tux of some sort. (Although, I should probably get a date first...I'm waiting to hear back from a few girls)
Anyway...
I've been looking around online, around the local rental shops, and I've come to decide to either go with a...
For any of those who live in Boston (Cambridge especially), you may want to check out "The Garment District". http://www.garment-district.com/
My sister-in-law and brother are buying me a new coat from there for my birthday coming up, and I guess they have plenty of vintage clothing for very...
Just because something has its basis on an idea doesn't mean you have to advocate that idea.
Some examples, the U.S. Constitution, Harry Potter, Narnia, religious books (Bible, Qur'an, Torah, etc...), Dan Brown books, even the presidency of Andrew Jackson!
Take the Constitution, yes, it can be...
I'm just sad, but understand the idea, that we cannot wear hats in school. (Respect to the flag and all...)
We can wear them when coming in, or leaving school, but not while class is going on, or between classes. Although, wearing them around town is, of course, accepted.;)
I thank all of you for your input. I'm sure I'll find something that fits me. I'll keep my eye out for clothing that fits well together, without going overboard. (Probably a mixture of decades/amounts of glamour presented for the occasion)
I'm thankful for everyone being so gracious with...
