After reading the latest chapters, I almost feel sorry for Lauder. How long must that resentment and anger have been building up and eating away at him like a cancer? It's almost painful to read.
I'm just gobsmacked. After reading each day's installment, I think it can't get any more bizarre, but darned if it doesn't the next day.
And the fact that Mr. Calder kept Lauder's son on at Aero speaks volumes as to his character and sense of honor.
You're correct. It was announced by Aero that Lauder, then Amanda, had left, then word appeared on the FL, in cryptic messages by some members, that Lauder's new adventure was to open soon. The AL website went live a couple of months after that.
Wow. My heart just aches for Ken and Lydia Calder, discovering what they did, being betrayed by people they trusted implicitly and then having to come out of retirement to save their legacy. I can't fathom how a person who had known the Calders since he was 18 could so heartless betray them like...
And what a stunner it is!!! If the sleeves weren't 26 and a smidge, I'd be all over it! Oh, and fit around my post-50 middle, too.
