    Sharp dresser

This morning, as I walked to work, I saw a man who has to be the sharpest dresser in Scotland! Up here in the highlands, people dress for hillwalking and mountain climbing even if they've never been near a hill. The wearing of a necktie means "your very smart" and a nice overcoat is unusual.The...

Hi, I have finally worn my fedora on a trip to Edinburgh.I was pleased to see a few being worn besides my own some by smartly dressed men. I didn't get any silly comments from anyone not even from builders and there were loads as they are currently installing a new tram system. The worst I got...

    Anywhere sell button fly pants?

Does anyone sell pants with a button fly nowadays? I can remember thinking (1970's last time I saw them)how inconvenient they were when in a hurry but the other day the zipper on my pants broke and I thought back to when pants had button fly fastening.Usually it was only one button that came off...

To trim or not to trim?

Would it be a disaster if I trimed little off my brim size? I don't want to send it away if I can do it myself.Has anyone else done this? I must add that it is an inexpensive brand new hat not a good vintage one.

I was searching for hat shops that might sell Fedoras in my country and kept coming across headings on the search engine that suggested that Fedoras are only ever worn as a fancy dress item mostly listed as "Gangster hats":rage: :rage: I myself got asked why I was dressed up like a gangster...
