    Post New Hats Here!

Thank you! Yes - I hadn't considered that the tall crown would give more options when it comes to creasing so that was an unexpected benefit!

    Post New Hats Here!

Hi folks. My Akubra Fed iv arrived yesterday! Four weeks for delivery to UK, which isn't bad considering it came by boat due to flight cancellations. Man the felt is stiff! Gave it some steam and it turned to putty, though, making it extremely easy to bash, even for a novice like me. I...

Ebay Hats: Victories, Defeats, Gripes & Items of Interest

Potentially of interest to my fellow British fedora fans. Don't see many Dobbs hats without having to pay and wait for shipping from the US... No, I'm not the seller, but might've been the buyer if only it was my size...

    On Retirement And Hats

Oooff, I hope you get through the back and health issues soon. I'm another guitar freak but just starting out on my hat journey. Both are rather moreish aren't they?! Hats are smaller and less expensive - in the main at least! And I'm 42, so retirement is a loooong way off - although if...

    On Retirement And Hats

I've been on furlough just about two months now and not missing work at all! (And I'm a sports journalist - not exactly an arduous job). I'm really enjoying peace and quiet, for now at least. Different strokes for different folks!

What Hat Are You Wearing Today ?

I did the same with my charcoal grey. Had a bit of a Coneheads vibe on my noggin the way it came!

New Member to the Hat Forum

Hi folks! I'm Adam, from London. Good to meet you. Like a lot of other new members, seemingly, I'm a long-time lurker who has picked up nearly all my hat knowledge from trawling the Lounge forums. A couple of years ago, I decided I wanted a winter version of the battered straw hat I got at a...
