Aw, thanks Amy:) I just know from past experience that I sometimes tend to type like an airhead and I'd rather not go down in history as the cause of WWIII:p
Apology
I'd like to apologize to anyone I've offended by using the term 'Redneck.' I had never considered it to be a hurtful or derogatory word, and like Jack, have only applied it to friends in the most playful and endearing fashion possible. I too grew up on a farm, 4-H kid and a...
Hi Atticus,
I mostly meant poorly-educated, in a very backwoods cow-tipping kind of way. Think 'mater' in "Cars."
Just want to clarify; not trying to change anyone, i just want to comfortably share my end of things, everyone has already made me very welcome at some pretty crazy shindigs...
I moved out of the city about a month ago, and landed in a little town about two hours NW of Detroit, very country - Dukes of Hazzard meet Maybury.

Hey:)
I've been lurking for a few weeks, just moved so I finally have time to post now... I was an animation student at CCS, and I guess I've just always loved 20's-40's fashion and history in general... I do a lot of my own design and have lots of fun digging around in flea markets and...
I have the acrylic gels because my nails are so thin - has anyone tried re-shaping them with a file after they grow out a bit, or is it better left to the tech? They look as vintage as fakies can get when I first have them done, but when they get longer the shape is all off.
