Here is my Magnoli Mark 7 "Indy" Bag with an M1 rifle sling as a strap:
For something a little bigger the Lands End brief case is a great durable piece
I got this bag as a Christmas present this year and it has been in service every day since. I have been really happy with this piece, it replaced a leather bag I carried for a number of years. The bag was smaller than I thought it would be but caries everything I need from my 9mm to a spare...
I carry a bag on a daily basis. Between medical supplies and a firearm, there is always a need for it. Attached is a pic of my current bag and it does work well, but looking for something a little different; less purse like. I see the repro Indy bags out there...
I am not really looking for uber accuracy. Just want a decent jacket without breaking the bank. The post was really centric around the jacket material, I have looked at a few others and just not looking to spent the extra $$ right now.
I have a few different Akubra hats. One being a Snowy River that was my fathers. The hat is really stuff, very much unlike my Squatter which is soft and pliable. What can I do to soften up the Snowy River without destroying it.
Thanks

I have worn out my old Wilson leather jacket, with the blood chit on the back. I see that US Wings has some $200 jackets on sale. I was debating between their goatskin a2000 a2 and the cowhide vintage a2. I am planning on getting another blood chit to attach to the back. What are the key...
As we have been in the midst of a monsoon here in Michigan, I have been wearing my Akubra. The thing got soaked yesterday and is still drying. I was going to hit it with some fabric waterproofing spray. Anyone think of a reason not to do it?

I am not expecting to restore or repair this thing to 100%, just want to try and stem the growth of the whole.
I am surprised to hear that these things come apart as easily.
And thanks for the welcomes :)
I admit - I am a pinch handler. I also wear this thing in some inclement weather. I just want to lessen the size of the holes and prevent them from growing.
I bought this hat in Australia 12 years ago. As of let it has a could of holes that have developed in it. I took a picture of it sitting on a lap so that the size and location of the holes/tears are more apparent. Any suggestions on how to repair ?
Thanks
Derek.-
