    Knitted sailor top

No, there is nothing to find - I never looked for it so I did not notice but simply assumed that there should be some link to the seller. But here is the link to the seller's blog. Nothing is going on there anymore but you might find help there :-)

    Knitted sailor top

Strange: I wondered why you could not see it and went to have a look at it. Could not see it (what else, you are not bling  ) I logged into my account and searched my orders and it told me that this article is not longer available. I do not know why so perhaps someone wants to ask her...

    Knitted sailor top

Here is the link to the shop: http://stores.lulu.com/vintageknitting. It is quite easy to make but be careful of the length, mine came out a tad bit short :o

Lorena Lorena, I saw your jumper and felt the urge to tell you how gorgeous is and fits! And then I noticed you complimented my outfit :-) I would say a great coincidence lol

    the Monroe bum-wiggle

:-) lol That happened all the time when I started wearing stilettos - I scratched my ankles badly. But then I got used to it (well, not the scratching but the higher heels) and it worked out fine. I guess it has something to do with me taking larger steps. As unsure as I often am I do look...

    the Monroe bum-wiggle

Walking on a invisible line Want to wiggle? I am - although not blessed with a lot of curves - a natural wiggler and with no intention. I never know how it happens until I attended a Tai Chi class and the teacher asked us to simply walk and stop when both feet were on the ground, one in front...

Fabulous dresses! Both those dresses are great! And you both did a fantastic job! Miss Amelina: those fifties patterns! They are always quite wide around the bustline - bullet bras might need more space ... lol Kamikat: I like forties on you. :-) But I think the top part could be a bit...

Blushing Thanks once more, you are all too kind - ha, but I like it. Hubby only says: "Very pretty, dear." when I show him my knits and skirts and frocks. Not enough for me, I am afraid. Miss Sis: I feel the same. Well, I like to knit but still I want to finish and wear what I am knitting...

Pick up those needles Just start with a sweater you really want to have - for Christmas, let's say. Knit a little bit everyday and don't expect to finish soon. Just go on, admire you stitches and the growing rows. And you will finish it because it is not half as boring as knitting a scarf ;)...

Gosh Thanks for your warm and enthusiastic words - makes me feel good, really :) Miss Amelina: go ahead and start knitting, not difficult and you will soon be able to make all those blouses yourself. Inky: I wish I were as quick as I used to be. This one took me a month and right I am...

Reading constantly ... ... but never come round to posting. It is simply amazing what you all are creating. I wish I could do a job half as good. Still, there is something I would like to show: a thirties sweater and a thirties skirt:

Free Pattern Available? List it here!

I am an idiot when it comes to printing and adjusting - very often the printer just doesn't do what I thought I told it to do. I have got an original and the necessary stuff (I called the company and normally they don't sell the tape alone but the lady on the phone lived once in my town and...

Lutterloh Those old patterns are so lovely, I also own one of their old books (1949 I think) but as I have no scanner I cannot provide any patterns. One day perhaps. I downloaded those other books and now I am unsure about how to print them correctly - they need to be the exact size. What...

Comments You Get When You Dress Vintage

O yes, you do look so pretty! Like icecream with whipped cream on top on a sunny day :-) And no reason for you to feel embarrassed, really. The drunken one is the one who should be ashamed. For next time you know what to answer: "Darling, I wish I were when I see you." I am all in all...

Don't be envious - just start. Knitting is not that difficult and you will even get quicker and quicker. I normally need 10 days to three weeks for such a little sweater. And the red one was also a quick knit because I wanted it so badly! ;-)

I know, you are absolutely right and should do it this way. As soon as the kids will both go to Kindergarten I shall do this! One day I might even know what to do if I don't like the result.
