    Help needed identifying a movie

I've never seen Jimmy Stewart in a bad movie. I've seen him in a few films that ought to be bad, but then they had Jimmy Stewart in them.

    Kakadu Trailmaster Clone

As far as the "Lightweight" question goes, I've got a pukka International and a lightweight Cowan Commando. I wear the Cowan when I'm out surveying or doing landscape stuff, it's light waterproof and tough... but it's not pukka. Not pukka at all. Good field jacket, but I'm not going to the...

    Only Angels Have Wings

This was on BBC2 in the UK the other day, it's an A1 with squadron patches showing an angry looking chief in a feather bonnet: http://www.doctormacro1.info/Images/Grant,%20Cary/Annex/Annex%20-%20Grant,%20Cary%20(Only%20Angels%20Have%20Wings)_01.jpg

"The inner adjusting strip of leather with snaps looks to have been moved slightly to make the coat fasten tighter." Anyone got any pictures of this? My Wested could do with something like that, I feel.

Need help finding a great boot.. ideas anyone?

My everyday boots are NPS Weatherbys like this: http://www.regent-footwear.co.uk/images/Country-footwear/Wetherby.jpg only in oxblood. Being as you are on the other side of the Atlantic, I imagine they are pretty scarce, but I am also fond of my steel toe Carolina Loggers...

    Harold Steptoe's belt

Brit posters will know who I mean. Harold Steptoe is an unlikely fashion hero, but I've always wanted his belt: http://images.dailyexpress.co.uk/img/dynamic/10/285x214/14692_1.jpg it's a thick brown leather belt with a brass buckle and fancy brass studs round it. I've always assumed it was...

    D. Lewis, white summer flight suit?

D Lewis are of course, Lewis Leathers, still trading (allthough their website's a mess). If you were using it for real aviation, there are "Dunlop" vintage racing suits available which are not dissimilar (ok dissimilar, but ok under a Mae West), pricey, but Nomex.

    Lewis leather site updated!

Thanks H. That's fantastic, they certainly aren't making the most of the internet revolution! And I lived on Bev Rd in Hull for years and never saw them! Anyhoo. I had a proper look at my jacket. It might be nearly dead, but it's a hell of a thing. It's spot on, long-line, lancer-fronted...

LUFTWAFFE jackets - Eagles who Dare to Wear..!

Hello folks, read the thread with interest. I've always loved these jackets, but like a few here, I'm not crazy about dressing in what is, after all a Nazi uniform (yes I know...) But something was nagging at the back of my mind, I've seen these jackets before... then it struck me...

    Lewis leather site updated!

As good a place as any... My old motorbike Jacket, too small, gravel rash, beer rot, and generally falling to bits, is a Rivetts "Highwayman". I love it to bits, and won't part with it, but what happened to Rivetts? Google draws a blank.
