I bought some vintage, new w/out tags jeans listed as being from the '40s, but I'm having trouble figuring out how to wear them! :( This photo you posted is closest to what I think they are supposed to look like worn! I will definitely try cuffing them up.
I think my biggest problem is that I...
Casey posted a really amazing tutorial on her blog about refashioning a cardigan here ("from frumpy to flattering!" lol). Haven't attempted it yet, but it's a brilliant idea if you're *ahem* budget conscious and find yourself falling in love with a *nearly perfect* (but irresistibly priced)...
Here's how that conversation should have gone:
"Who are you supposed to be?"
"FABULOUS, that's who!"
I think you look adorable!! That skirt is too cute!
My tastes range from 1920s/Bonnie and Clyde type rides:

P.S. True charm never fades.
I have a BIG thing for the collegiate look:
Love the cheeky grin and posture of the boy on the left! Dishy! :essen:
Found them in a box of miscellaneous ancestors. lol Here they are again hiding behind a bush (?!):
Also love the "outdoorsy" type:
And a sucker for a man...
Such a great thread!
I totally agree with the point that there's always another to-die-for dress next week. I ran into this problem at first, because omigoodness it's vintage and so unbearably unique and I'll never find a dress/skirt/etc. like this ever ever again and I just can't live with...
