These are both " quality superiore" line Borsalino felts( Their highest level of quality, better than " rain proof line" or " triumpho" or "Augusta" cheaper series types..
Bands were removed by me but hats never worn, in box for a few years,
It has the lower, shiny/silky beaver texture, also known as a silk finish, soleil finish or eleganza finish etc
Not long hair beaver like 70's pimp hats, thus is very elegant, looks like a semi shiny texture..
Basically new, unused hats for less than half price, these sold for well over $300 when I got them.. I never really got into the styles,So I just hoarded them..I used the bands on other hats and they stayed in their boxes, unused ever since.
( at the time I was wearing all wild colors, 3" brims in pastels etc)
