Our young intern, know for his 'gangster rap' clothes, tattoos, bling, and sideways ball cap, told me his mom was getting him clothes for Christmas, and he'd asked for a cashmere sport coat and fedora.
I was floored, to say the least. He's a smart kid, maybe he's going to turn things around.
He'd complained a couple weeks ago about how a cop treated him when he was stopped for speeding, and I pointed out if he dresses like a hoodlum, the cop will treat him like a hoodlum.
I asked if he wanted to borrow a Coltrane CD to replace the crap he listens too, but he said he's not ready for that big of a switch yet.
