A previously unknown jacket line under Brooks?

I came across this eBay auction:

Note the label: "Sandor's Leather Sportswear, Detroit." Same font and tagline as used in the vintage Brooks jackets we know and love.

Even though it's a women's jacket and not of great interest here, I wonder if I've stumbled across a different line within the Brooks brand.

Anyone familiar with "Sandor's" jackets?

This makes complete sense. Thanks for the reminder about Sandor Weiss.

I wonder if “Sandor’s” is a forerunner to the Brooks brand, or if it was a name reserved for women’s jackets?
