Age check on this Schott 618 Perfecto??

Hi all,

I just picked up an old schott perfecto which I'm told is a 618.

The leather looks great, no bad smells / damage anywhere and feels like a very old jacket that's been well cared for. Super cool old one.

Bit gutted as its just a bit big for me so will likely go up on ebay but can anyone please help me date this? And an approximate value?

It has a YKK main zipper, unsure of the brand on the sleeve zippers but have added photos, interestingly no snap on the back of the collar like other 618s I've seen but it does feel like a 618 and not a 118.

I can't find a pocket tag with the model number anywhere and also doesn't even look like one was sold in.

In comparison to my newer 618 id say the buckle feels quite lightweight.

There's a made in usa tag inside, photo of the main perfecto label attached and the remnants of another care label. Aside from that I don't have a lot of details to go off.

The label on your jacket was used from the late 1980s to present day if we were to reference the label history Schott provided in their book.

I'd guess late 80's early 90's. The leather definitely resembles jackets from that era.

Emar cuff zippers. Early 1980s. Worth it to note Schott stopped using Emar zippers by the late 80s.
