Oh my, is the really happening...?
I Have to agree; the trash bin, or recycled into a wallet / watch straps etc. is the only option with this one I am afraid.

Is it just me, or are those collars MASSIVE too? They just look wrong.

Didn't check that one, but the QC definitely slipped there. They state it was a trainee jacket, though. But still . . .

Why do they need trainees if they;
1. Have 'A team of seasoned master craftsmen, all specialists in the art of re creating vintage leather jackets with over 262 years experience'. And,
2. Only a 'two week wait time'

Mmmmm.

Eeps, that is bad. Looks like one of those vinyl 'leather jackets' they made for Action Man / GI Joe back in the day.... or those 1/6 scale figures today. Something terribly clumsy about it. I appreciate it's a "trainee" jacket and they're letting it go cheap, but they must really be desperate to recoup training costs if they're prepared to let that out the door with their label on it....

TBH all the photos on their sale page could hardly be any worse. Zero lighting, no composition, focus, random backgrounds, some jackets hanging from a mannequin, others laid flat on the table...

http://www.simmonsbilt.com/sale/a-2-seal-horse.html <- That A-2 could be just about any colour.
http://www.simmonsbilt.com/sale/simmons-bilt-mongolian.html <- You just don't put stuff like that on your page, it speaks a lot about both the company and the people running it

I doubt there was anyone who didn't already know about the company brave enough to risk buying one of these.

That 'trainee' description is a new ads so it's good to see the people there are reading *waves*! Have to say, the other non-trainee Cafe Racers on the sale page aren't much better: http://www.simmonsbilt.com/sale/cafe-racer-808.html
The collar is just botched, the cuff openings are bell-bottom-esque and while they've nipped in the back and sides of the jacket, the front seems to be untouched, so that'll sit very oddly. I'm guessing Will didn't get a chance to copy Aero's Cafe Racer pattern...
Aero's sale pages were always poor under Will, badly photographed and presented. It was Holly who took it by the scruff of the neck and made it what it is now.
Also, just a thought for whoever has responsibility for AL's sale pages: taking one picture of a generic jacket and then repeating it over and over for batches is hardly fair on buyers is it? You want to be able to actually see the jacket your buying not just 'an A-2'.

That was one of the very first things I noted.
Seriously, if you want to ask for more than ten bob for anything online, you'd better take the time to take a picture of it!
This is just the laziest execution of a company's web site that I think I have every seen.
There are better eBay company sites, that are run by a teenager in their garage.

I've always loved reading the Aero sale page from the time I first visited the website. Kind of cool to read the little personal backstory of each jacket. Really good to see they're adding measurements for each jacket now.

Good question. Possibly the fallout from the trial soured things for IH with SB, or perhaps any previous deal between the two companies was 'revisited' [huh].
