Any Leather jacket experts able to identify this lovely piece?

Maybe it's something, maybe it's nothing, but hopefully something to someone in the near future!

I bought this wonderful 50's jacket (with a collar) back on eBay UK in 2019. Ultimately I wore it a few times then came a pandemic, and the realisation that actually, the jacket was too small for me. Since then I've tried to find a carbon copy or something similar, but to no avail!!

Anyway, I'd be interested to know if any aficionados are able to identify the era, history and more, about this type of jacket.

Funnily enough, I did upload the images to Chat GBT to see what it came up with, and that was fairly interesting, but maybe it's best to hand these queries to some humans!

Few pointers:

• Maybe 50's
• Maybe European origin
• Unbranded
• Prentice zippers
• Straight-zip café racer / road-rider style with minimal collar
• Crop cut

Would be great to

• Confirm the jacket type and likely origin
• Thoughts on value and whether conservation is worthwhile
• Advice on where best to sell or trade
• And, ideally, guidance on finding a similar jacket that would actually fit me!! As I love the zipper and collar detail.
