Has anyone heard of the slang term "AirHog"?

An AirHog is the slang name airplane pilots use to call themselves.

The minor league baseball team here in Grand Prairie calls themselves the AirHogs. The mascot is Ace Bacon, fighter pilot, with his leather flying cap, goggles and A-2 jacket.

Grand Prairie, near Dallas, has a long history of aviation. Vought Aircraft, still here in GP, built the F4U Corsair in WWII.
