Thanks for all the compliments on the hat. Dad really likes his hat. He's not a big hat wearer, he has his collection of yard hats, thats about it. He never wore one in the 1940's or 1950's either. The only picure I ever saw of him with a cap was when he was in the Army Air Corps in WWII. At first he didn't want to buy a panama, but with some edging on by my mother, sisters and brothers he decided to get one.lol Mom actually thinks she's going to put it in the coffin with him. NO WAY! hahhahahaa But, Dad's looking forward to his next trip to Honolulu so he can style around there.
