Got two, both green . . .

I have two Barbisios. This one was refurbished by Graham Thompson (Optimo) to replace the sweatband. Most everyone likes the ribbon treatment, which is original (Graham admitted it was a challenge to get it back together correctly):

On the right in this pic, you can see I changed the bash to more of a C-crown with some rake:

This second one is a little hat with only a 2 1/4 brim (I think), and I wear it sometimes hiking in the winter or on a hash run. It is fuzzy:

I picked up a similar Barbisio on my latest trip to Germany. My friend is wearing it in this picture.

There is another Barbisio in the picture. It is gray one with the black ribbon. It has a similar ribbon treatment (out of view) to the first Barbisio you posted.

The other hats in the picture from the left gray Taunus Porkpie, black Flechet and brown Flechet (missing a brown Panizza). All the hats are mint (never worn).

such stingy little brims - I wonder if Barbisio saw its heyday towards the end of hats - 50's 60's, as I see so many with the tiny brims and other 'markers' of 50's - 60's.

Yes I believe these Barbisios are from 1950s. They have a Alpen feel too.

Barbisio

Here is a vintage Barbisio in never worn / mint condition. This is the one with the very interesting / unusual bow treatment and over all design. The model name is Rimini as in the name of the Italian province / city.

Thanks for the info. I am thinking 1960s. The ribbon design is similar to barrowjh's hat posted earlier in the thread.

By the way the actual production date based on the paper label is 09/03/61.

I just received a very similar hat--originally sold in Germany but via ebay.UK
It was listed as 58. Folded under the sweatband is a size 6-1/2 60 Label. They couldn't read or measure as its a full size 60. Also shipped in a bag not a box so its freshening up on the hat stretcher. I'll post pics shortly. Two sizes bigger than my head. Different sweatband logo.
